05 Navigator Battery Drain
I have a 2005 Navigator that cant keep a charge. I have started by hooking up a voltmeter to the system and started pulling fuses to see what is drawing the battery down while parked. I have not been able to pinpoint the problem. I heard that the diaode in the voltage regulator in the alternator could be compromised, so i installed anew one. Still have the problem. Any hints as to what might be going on will be greatly appreciated. When the battery is fully dead and I jump the vehicle, I get a "Check AvancTrac". Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Use your meter and tell us what the battery voltage is for each of these tests. First with the engine off, turn on the headlights for a minute, turn them off and take a reading, then with the engine running (headlights off) take a reading.
