Well, I finally joined the Bullnose club. I bought a VERY nice low-mileage 1986 F250. It has a 5.8,4x4, C6, 8600GVW and rack body. This truck was rarely used (68,xxx miles) and kept in a total climate-controlled barn. NO rust whatsoever, which is all but non existent here in CT. Runs/shifts without so much as a hiccup. The only negative is that it has a rack body. The owner actually had the original bed which was taken off after he got it home from the dealership back in 1985. This was sold less than a month ago! Man, what I would pay to find that! Anyway, just thought I'd post some pix for all to see. I'm new to this generation of 250's so if anyone has any insight on these trucks I'm here to listen!
The driver's side mirror looks like maybe it's from 1980-82 as those mirrors had a more solid-angled contour than the bubble shaped mirrors used on later years. But yours doesn't look exactly like I would expect a 80-82 variant to look, it might be aftermarket.
