What you guys think?<o></o>
Looks Weird, Crazy, Extravagant, or Just Plain Ugly?
Got them for Free, and I wanted a larger Mirror than the OE 5” so this was an Option.<o></o>
Feel Free to Comment. Or it could become a New Style ?

Who cares? As long as you can see out of them, you're good. I like them. Maybe you can nickname your truck "Dumbo".

I like them also....I am sure chrome would make them less noticable but they are certainly in character for the truck and I bet they work great... Nice truck there dude.

Afraid I agree, but you can easily replace the mirror heads

I dont think they look all that bad. I myself am trying to figure out what I'm going to do for mirrors myself. At least those look more time period then trying to put newer model mirrors on it...

I kind of agree that the heads needs to be a tad smaller. And I agree that you can probably just replace the heads themselves. This brings up the question, when did those little chrome curly mirrors come into play? If you look at the OLD pictures of these trucks, they had the bigger mirrors like the ones here on this truck. Was there an option to get the small curled chrome ones? Or did that come along years later?

Free mirrors!? I won't look a gift horse in the mouth. If they help you see and stay safe, I would keep them.

They're too big for me, but it's not my truck. You're the only one who counts(and SWMBO).

How high does that truck sit when it has wheels on it?

The mirrors you mention are all aftermarket add on's designed to help conform to laws regarding having mirrors on the vehicle, not necessarily for function. They date back at least to the lead sled era of the 50's. Maybe earlier.

They remind me of Mickey Mouse ears... Just sayin... But not that bad. I wouldn't chrome them though...black would be more subtle for those.
If you found a similar size rectangular mirror I think that would be better.

I would be concerned due to the size they might be hard to use due to vibration. The one arm might not be strong enough to hold them steady enough to see out of.
Just a thought
