Steering column suggestions

Has anyone used the Ididit custom "cut to fit" column? They recommend s 30" column for the F1 but 32-34 might be better. The cut to fit is 36" and can be as short as needed.

Old School Straight

I have a Foxbody Mustang rack and a Crown Victoria IFS. I wanted to keep the stock look of the truck by reusing my column and wheel but it might be a better option to go with something aftermarket at this point.

I used a Flaming River column. I think it's 32". I have a 52 F1. Very happy with it, very well made. Why not get a full column? I don't see why you need the shorty one.

I think they recommend a 30" I measure about 32 to end up close. I will need to do a bit more fab work than just a swap-in setup. Thats why I asked about the cut-to-fit column.

What front suspension are you running?

Thanks for the picture.

My truck is a 1951 F1.

I have a 4.6L DOHC Cobra engine with long tube headers, Crown Victoria IFS.

I am more concerned about the bottom end connection and U-joints.
