AODE trouble

AODE trouble
Hi all,
I started having a bit of trouble two weeks ago with my AODE. Around 45 mph, it seems to slap between D and OD. It doesn't feel like it is slipping, but real jerky. I can drive all day long in D and not have a single problem. I can wait until about 50mph and then put it into OD or I can accelerated through the gear change. Holding the truck at around 45 mph and I have trouble. I changed the fluid and filter about 15,000 miles ago. The fluid then was pink. The fluid now is slighlty over full and bright pink at operating temperature. Can anyone help me out with this? The local trans shop told me it could be a torque converter or a solenoid, but would have to put it on the hoist to find out.
