If the question is in reference to a Bumpside truck, you can take a blower motor from an '84-'86 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, pair it with the larger squirrel cage fan from a Dentside truck and install them inside the Bumpside heater housing, for much greater output.
I don't think it was an option until 73. I drove a 72 for many years in Akasja and never felt the heater wasn't good enough. If it's all in proper working order and the cab is tight, no problem staying warm at 25 below. I used to run a 205 thermostat and you could hardly hold your hand over the defroster.

2X. Ford only lists one non-A/C heater core and one non-A/C blower motor.
That works ? more CFM would mess up the heat transfer from coil ,
This is why your home Furnace motor is on low speed and the AC circuit runs on the motors high speed .
