i have got the 85 ford inline 300 6 running agin and now i like to know if a water pump from a ford 200- inline 6 or a 250- inline 6 will fit my 300 inline 6 will fit its just a old work truck
i like to git reda of the clutch fan ya i know that my spelling is bad i was a sandbox drop out #1spudman thanks for all your help
The 200/250 is a different engine family from the 300. It's like the difference between big block and small block V8's. Parts don't interchange. You'll need to get a 300 water pump.
What's wrong with the clutch fan? They do a good job at what they do, regulating temperature and reducing HP draw. Either way, I don't believe the pump is dependent on clutch or direct drive fans. Either one should work on the same pump.
