390 build
Currently I am looking to build a restore a 67 galaxie. I wanna build a 390 for it get some horsepower and keep reliability. Currently i have a 360 from a 1970 f250. Which years 390 would be the best to consider for this project? Is my 360 out of my 1970 f250 worth my time or should i try to find a different year motor?

As long as it is not already over bored, your 360 block is fine. You need a 390 crank and rods and proper pistons. NOT pickup 390 pistons.

I just happen to have a never installed "built" C6 for that stored at a buddies house in Toledo,Ohio. Hypo clutches, CJ servo, shift kit, etc. PM me if interested.
