Just picked up a 65' F350 parts truck. Looks like I may have stumbled across a factory grill guard. Anybody know anything about these? If somebody can tell me how to post a picture on here I'll be glad to let yall see.

Sounds right. Does your guard bow up above the headlights and drop down about even with the grill in the middle? Still working on getting my pics posted. Give me a wrench over a mouse anyday!

Yup. I sold it to a guy in California after a lot of discussion about its authenticity. There is a photo of one in "Ford Pickups 57-72" that identifies it as a Ford option. Mine had a spare tire mount attached that appeared to be original but might have been added later.
