Good morning guys.
I am getting some much needed rain this morning.
You guys up north have been getting the rain but on the shore we have had very little.
Started my new search for a fifth-wheeler this weekend. We are already swinging toward the "Montana", but are still open to other trailers. They seem to have what we are looking for.
So knowing the approx. weight of the trailer I started a tread "help the old man me" to see if the F250 was up to the task. Air bags and shocks should do the trick per the majority Ford people on our sight. It is amazing how helpful people on this sight are in helping out, and it's a real help to old guys like me.
One suggestion was to weigh the truck so going to look for cat scales in the area and get it weighed.

The T/A in Willington would be your best bet. I believe that, Southington, and the Pilot in Sturbridge are the only three in the area. I weighed my '11 around 4,950 front, 3,100 rear if I remember right. It was an XLT Crew Cab 4x4 PSD like yours.

Yes, I just called Willington and it's $10 for weighing and 2 for cert. and weight sounds about what I figured it would weigh for what I've seen on the net. Probably will go up tomorrow when the rain lets up.

All three T/A's in the state have them, there is a T/A in Branford.
Thanks Justin, I called Willington yesterday and am going up there this morning before the rain hits in the afternoon. Then I'm going to attempt to use the scanner on the HP and scan the results. So I can post it.
I guess we are in for some heavy rain with lighting and thunder and wind this afternoon.
