Will a gas 4r100 valve body work in a diesel 4r100??

Jake I'm stepping out on a limb here, but the 4R100 was the same in both gas and diesel applications. It will work.

CORRECTION...

LIKELY NO. The bell housings are different on the trannies, torque converters are different, possibly the number of gears, etc. I don't know if the valve bodies are the same. So a better question is...

Whatcha need a new valve body for?
