6.9 intercooler /propane (any updates?)
I have been doing a lot of reading on the old threads on intercoolers. I have a 87 6.9 with the bank sidewinder, no wastegate. I have the square box on top (I assume that's the old style as Banks website shows a system nothing like mine). I was wondering if anyone has completed an intercooler set up and would care to assist me with this budget/experimental project. I'm specifically looking for fabrication assistance for connecting pipes to the turbo, and pipes to the intake hat (possibly modifying the banks filter housing for one or both). Also I am planning a simple propane system. So anyone with experienc, I would be great to get some info of parts sourcing. I'm sorry to post this like a classifieds add, I just have no interest in arguing theory. Thanks in advance guys!
