Got a letter from the county a few days ago saying our back road had acquired enough people to require a street name ( that and according to our address we should be on the main drag, but we're not. Makes it impossible for people to find us...like the fire department, medic… ) They said that if we don't agree on a name (and pay $200! what the heck?!) within 30 days, they'll name it for us. They didn't, however, mention what they would name it. So to avoid living on Rainbow Fluff rd we're having a neighborhood meeting to give our suggestions.
I was thinking something along the lines of Cford Dr...maybe Ceeford...
What's the name of the main road? Could have some fun with it. I seem to recall that in CA a few years back, the town changed the name of one street, Morning street, due to it's intersection with Wood street.
I believe that there is actually a town in Maine called Nonsuch, or Nosuch. How about Ford Way, or just a rather long name to make a large sign.
200 bucks!
Taxes Rd.
FORD HOTEL DR. You can come in, but you can never leave!
BLUE OVAL RD./AVE./DR./LN. This sounds gooood.
Talk with you guys later....
How about BFE Rd. or Runamuck Rd.
I really like the Fair Lane idea too.
How many folks are gonna be at that meeting?
Do each of you have to pay $200, or will it be split?
hows about Back Road??
