Hey guys. I just upgraded my 05 f150 xlt from the oem headlights to these.
I am looking for a way to get the led (red arrow) and halo (blue arrow) lights to run only during the day. and the truck isn't set up with daytime running lights but is setup with the autolamps. I would like it set up so i don't have to remember to turn them on and off and i dont see any point in having them running when the headlights are on. but cant find any switches that will do it. any ideas are welcome and what i would like to do and what i am able to do most likely won't be the same thing. thanks for any input.
Off the top of my head, I'm thinking a relay. You could have the halo run on ignition power and the power from the headlight switch could be your signal to turn them off.
