uneven idle

When I first start my truck, it has a tendency to rev. After it's warmed up a while, it evens out. But it always revs once it's started. I have a vacuum hose disconnected...err...broken under the hood. I'm wondering if that's it. It was a red/pink color.

A broken vacuum hose will definitely mess with your idle ...

What is your idle RPM at once it warms up?

Don't know, no tach. But it's lower than when it's reving.

Red vacuum hose is routed to the FPR.

Pink hose runs to the Air Diverter/Bypass valve for either the TAB.

If its the red, then fuel psi stays pegged out, and you have a consient vacuum leak. If its the pink line, then you have a vacuum leak when the PCM commands the TAB solenoid to function.

Still.......a vacuum leak....
