Yesterdady i chenged my antifreeze, I opted for the orange stuff. While I was at it, I noticed that the idle on my Exp was increasing/decreasing constantly, was going from 400 to 700 almost from second to second. What's this issue? Could this be a valve that's going bad and I can clean up? Does this is normal or is affecting my MPG?
check for a vacuum leak . mine started that tonight when i got off work and i found a vacuum hose that the previous owner had plugged and done a poor job at. it started leaking and the idle jumped and sounded like it was skipping. my leak was a hose on the back of the injectors on the drivers side. there are about 4 hoses that all enter there. mine was one of them. be sure to check all vacuum hoses all the way down them though. good luck
