Fuel Leak

I've got a pretty bad fuel leak that only seems to show up when the truck is running. Its a '92 Superduty with the 7.3. I did the fuel return line kit over the winter, and it solved my hard starting issues.

I pulled it into the garage to pull the plow off and it was leaking diesel pretty bad. Its dripping down from either side of the tranny. I wasn't able to see any major leaks though that could account for this. I know there are some fuel lines that run down between the engine and the firewall, but I'm not able to figure out how to actually put eyeballs on them. Are these prone to leaks?

That said, I see some bubbles forming around the base of one of the injectors. It doesn't look like its coming from the cap though... from the injector itself. It doesn't look like enough to account for the amount of fuel I saw leaking, but its definitely something I want to get sorted out. If I installed the cap poorly would the bubbles look like they're coming from the base of the injector? What size is the injector 'nut'? My biggest wrench is 3/4 and it doesn't fit... I have to pick something up from the hardware store.

Completely off topic, but does anyone know how much the dump bed on a '92 F-Superduty weighs? Trying to calculate how much sand to add for snow plow traction without overloading the suspension.

Injectors are 1", get brake cleaner and spray around each injector to dry stuff out. Start the truck and look, you should then be able to see where fuel is coming from.

Cool, heading to Menard's tomorrow, so I'll pick up the 1" wrench and some brake cleaner.

the lines that go down behind the engine along the firewall is the main fuel return.
that can leak, and would give you a nasty looking leak while running.
