Vibration/noise when stoped

2003 with 2005 motor, auto trans. After truck is warmed up and been driven a while I get a vibration/nice when stopped. Sometimes the Vibration changes with the brake peddle application. Is there a ps hose that can go bad inturnally on these? Anything else to look for. It's easy to hear/feel in the cab but can't hear it under the hood
Changed the ps fluid with no change.

Check the up-pipe connection to the turbo , if the gasket is leaking you will have soot on the firewall , are all the pipe brackets secure under the truck , one could be rattling and you would feel it .also on the rail are all sort's of fuel lines maybe some of the clips are not snapped in.

Maybe I am reading this wrong at one point it vibrates while stopped not moveing but then he mentions it increases while applying brakes.
Is the vibration while moveing or stopped? Clarify please.

The noise is after I stop. The noise can be change SOMETMES by pushing harder or letting off of the brake peddle

do you feel it in the brake petal ? like it's coming from the Brake booster, have you looked at the up-pipe to the turbo?

Does it do it in neutral too, or only in drive?

Does it have hydroboost? He might be getting the whine or hum from the P/S pump, If the noise changes as he is standing still but by putting more pressure on the brake pedal or less pressure the noise is changing pitch, wonder if the noise changes when he turns the steering wheel, curb to curb. He could have a pump that is failing, would have to do more diagnosing to make sure but that's is where I would put my guess at. Ford had problems with contaminated fluid up to 2013. I have replaced many pumps, flushed the systems and put the upgraded steering resevoir. Which is nothing more than the original but has a filter to trap the sediment in it. There is a advisory on this but Ford did not make it a TSB, or a recall, I work on a fleet of fords and have done this a half a dozen times, seems like 2004-2011 are the worst ones. Even causes sticking steering and if you shut the truck off and restart all is fine. that is what I would look into first. Pumps are a little tight but when you replace it and flush the sysytem with the new resivour it seems the problem goes away. . Check into it and see what you come up with. good luck

What has me puzzled is the vibration. I can understand steering system whine but that useually does not come with vibration. Not moveing at all is also a puzzle for a vibration issue. Brakes would be the same unless he is standing on the brakes with the engine reved up high.

Welcome to the Diesel World , some noise's are common , your going to have to be a little more specific or capture a video . are you getting Boost ? that would be from the Turbo check out up-pipe in the Back of the turbo cold and hot side CAC tube , also brake booster ? is there a Clutch or Manual ?

If I put it in park/natural it is less noticeable, it will also do it slowing down at idle. I checked the exhaust system and the down pipe is really close to the frame, so I will look at that. It really doesn't sound like a power steering howl, more a sound and feel of a vibration.

I'm having the same issue with my 06.(checked the exhaust+Up pipes everything is fine) I really couldn't find anything solid on here as to what's causing it.

I have read that it might be the hydro-boost on it's way out, also to flush the fluid and that will help. It's been raining for pretty much two weeks here so i haven't been able to flush the fluid. But i'm curious to see if anyone can find an definite answer. Im getting tired of the vibration makes me feel like im gonna loose my brakes.

Aftermarket exhaust is where I would be starting. Have someone put their foot on the tailpipe while the truck is making the noise.

I have been trying to track down this issue since I bought my truck three months ago. Mine is cyclical; more of a hum than a vibration, and only happens when it's at operating temp. It also happens when I am not pressing the brake pedal, like coasting on the highway. However, I've noticed that I can create the hum just by pressing the brake pedal fairly hard, and when I release, the sound is evident. And this makes me wonder if I have two separate issues.

truckrider814 - I flushed the power steering system three weeks ago and it definitely took the mush out of the brake pedal, but here I am with this humming when I release it. Can't honestly tell you if the humming was there prior to the flush or not. Not sure if that's to do with the hydro-boost, the power steering pump, using Mobile 1 synthetic ATF, or something else. I recall a thread where someone suggested an issue with one of the ABS components but I can't remember which.
