I have searched and couldn't find an answer to this. On my 94 F150 XLT 302 2wd the airbag light is randomly flashing 32 and it started doing this after I pulled the airbag fuse with the battery hooked up. Is this what caused it and how do I fix it? I recently repaired the clock spring and the horn and cruise still work so I doubt this is the problem. Thanks for any help
32 is for driver airbag open circuit. Usually a bad clockspring but could be anything... broken wire, loose connector, the usual gremlins. Also just cause a part is new don't mean it's good. I would start checking for continuity.
Don't connect test equipment (ohmmeter) to the yellow connector on the back of the airbag itself. Shop manual says not to... might go bang depending on how much voltage gets to the squib I guess. I've blown a few up using just a 9V battery.
