78 351m alternator
So ive been reading about the 3g swap, but still have a few questions. Which case size do I need, and which vehicles for sure are the best to get them out of? My searching has turned up different results, and im sorta confused. The few junkyards around don't have a very good selection, so I may have to go all new....

Look for one out of a late 90's Taurus. Most yards are gonna have tons of them. Be sure to grab the harness coming off the donor 3G alt and as much of the wire going back to the fuse block. It will make wiring it up that much easier!
