trans slipping ??
My wife's car, '06 explorer 4.0, experienced trans. slipping issues last year. The trans was replaced under extended warranty. Now it's doing the same thing. Warranty expired. The dealer claims they can't find a problem. It does it when you slow down at a light and then accelerate without stopping, or going around a corner and accelerating. It shifts but requires more rpm to move. Almost like I am dragging a piano or something. Any thoughts. thanks
