P0341 and another question

P0341 and another question
Long story short.
The truck has been sitting for about 1 week. It has been started a few times to move it around the driveway and give it a wash. A few hours later after the wash I started her up to gor for a ride and the CEL turns on. She was idleing fine. I revved her up a few times and it seemed odd. Maybe it is just me as I do not have much experience with diesels but when I revved her up she came back down really fast, almost like she was under a load or had some resistance. She also would not build any boost. It it normal for the revs to come back down faster than a gasser? Is it also normal to not build boost when revving in Park?
Once I got home I cleared the code, P0341, the only oe there, and started her up and revved above 1500 rpm for over 10 secods. I did this a few times and the code has not come back as of yet.
Thoughts? A fluke? Something creeping up on me? Maybe due to the starts and shut downs just to move her around the driveway?
