Steering Gear

On my 62 P 35 I was told that it has power steering. I see lines at my drag link
And filled the reservoir. I am looking for more info repair etc. it's has a slight seepage at the box would like to repair it.

1960 was the last year that the P350/500 (P Series Parcel Delivery) was available with Power Assist P/S.

So it could have been dealer installed (if a kit was found), or a previous owner swapped it in.

No 1961/76 P series was available with any type of P/S.

Compare the parts in the pics to see if they match.

Well, there's a problem, your user name is 52 step. I read another post that said you actually have a 1962.

So, I took that to mean 1962 Stepside (GM name and a common mistake people make here). Ford's name for a Stepside pickup is Flareside.

I also didn't notice the P 35 reference, so what you really have is P350 (P Series Parcel Delivery). A step [van] is a Chevrolet.

I edited post #2, deleted the original pic because it was F100/250 related. I added specific P Series info, two specific P series pics. Compare the parts in these pics to yours.
