I am attempting to determine what the paint code color of my truck is. The door sticker information is not present and I have been looking at paint chips through "google searching" but figured the knowledge base online would be a better approach.
Mainly I am looking to determine the lighter blue of the two tone paint scheme. (see attached picture)
I have a primer black/light metallic blue F100... unfortunately the door was replaced and no one swapped the warranty tag (I'm told that is common) so the tag says I have a white F150, while everywhere on the truck looks to be the your light color.
I dont remember seeing a metal warrenty tag. I will have to look when I get home. There is a sticker on the door jab that includes VIN information but all the paint/trim/etc information is not present.
Scroll down in the link to see colors and codes. I used autocolorlibrary/TCP Global house brand "restoration shop" acrylic enamel paint on my Dent and am pleased with it.
1979 F250: I am attempting to determine what the paint code color of my truck is. The door sticker information is not present.
Safety Standard Certification Label glued to the B pillar below the striker plate.
It does not have the COLOR codes printed on it. Has the VIN, production date, misc GVW's and some have tire sizes printed on it...and that's it!
COLOR codes stamped on the 2nd line of the Warranty Plate, riveted to the left door face below the latch.
If the Warranty Plate is missing, a replacement is available along with the special rivets and all the correct codes stamped on it, by passing your VIN and some bucks to martiauto.com
