Yes, That second video is from me. What Im looking for is that 1990's era magazine article about this Aerostar Van that Boyd had. If you happen to come across that Magazine article, that would be awesome. I just don't know what magazine it was from.

If a simple search doesn't bring it up, (which it didn't for me, ymmv) then it's probably available on microfiche at a larger library deep in the basement. If you know the magazine name.

The Boyd's Wheels Ford Aerostar was in either Truckin' or Mini Truckin Magazine. Supercoupe Supercharged 3.8. according to the article used a prototype Bell Tech lowering kit. Which according to Bell Tech, they never made one. Back then I would buy any of the magazines that featured an Aerostar in it. I had a 1990 Aerostar XL then got a 89 Aerostar XLT. Currently have a 93 Aerostar XLT/Eddie awd 4.0 that I am working on.

As for swapping in a V8 it has been done. First a the owner swapped in a 5.0 out of a Crown Vic. Then he replaced it with a Mustang 5.0 HO. So, it can be done.
