Carter YF Carb-Jet size for 5,500 ft
I just recently moved to Prescott AZ. Having some trouble with rough idle and too rich of fuel mixture.
I have been told I need to get smaller metering jets. I found them at Carter BBD Jets | Carburetor Main Metering.
Can anyone tell me what size I need at this altitude. I realize I can do the spark plug test, gray, black, white but what size does this carb usually come with?
I have a 1978 F150 300 motor with the one barrel Carter YF.
