Message Center not Responding

I had the oil change message up for a few days. Each time I started it I'd just hit reset to make the message disappear. Today I got around to changing the oil and now my "Oil Change Required" will not go away.

I've tried holding the buttons (info, reset and setup) for a while, nothing. I tried disconnecting the battery for a few minutes, still there.

The cruise control buttons still work. If I open a door, it tells me it's open then returns to oil message. Just can't clear the message.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I should add, it's a 2012 F150 XLT with a 5.0. No sync system.

My truck is a 14 and has the sync system, don't know if that makes a difference. Anyways, if it's the same setup as mine, in that dash menu, gotta go to Settings, Vehicle, then there's an option for Oil Life Reset. I'd imagine that would get rid of it. I haven't had to use it yet but I'm getting close.

If you have that same setup and can't navigate away from the oil message or have a different type, I don't know what you would have to do, but I'm sure someone else would know

Did you ever find out how to solve this problem. I have the exact same thing going on and did exactly what you did?
