The only new pistons I am aware of are from Egge. Egge is expensive. I lucked out and found a NOS set of 30 over pistons when I was going through my motor. I watched ebay, Ford Barn, and the HAMB. I think I paid $150 for my pistons. The rings are cheap since they are the same as used in 235 Chevrolet six motors.
How far out can you take a 215, bore-wise? Standard-bore 223 pistons are equivalent to .065"-over on a 215. I assume they use the same rods? 223 pistons are much cheaper.
When I rebuilt my 215 I found a second block since the first block was already at 223 standard and needed another bore. The engine didn't run hot and probably would have been fine, I just preferred not to go out that far. I also got a crank that cleaned up at .010 instead of .030.

I would like to find another crank min got some rust grooves in the main journals
Check with Green Sales Co. They have a lot of NOS parts. When I was rebuilding my 215, I bought the remaining Nos inventory for the Pistons I needed. They only had three. The rest came from Egge. I paid more for one piston from Egge than I paid for all three from Green Sales.
