One night in a town in Mississippi, a house caught on fire. The whole town went down to the house to try to put it out. Buckets of water were brought from the wells and the lake to put it out. No matter how much the town's people tried, they couldn't get the fire to stop, so they stood around to watch it. A few minutes later, there was a lound roar. The people looked down the road and saw a pickup truck coming their way. The pickup truck was driven by Eulis. He had his entire family in the back of the truck. He drove down by the people and drove his truck straight into the burning house. Each member of the family jumped out of the truck and started stompping the fire and eventually, they stomped the fire out. The town's people were very happy and the reverand passed a hat around as the people took up a collection of money and gave it to Eulis. The reverand asked, "Eulis, we so very greatful that you and your family stomped out the fire, but let me ask you. What are you going to do with the money we gave you?" Eulis replied, "Well, the first thing I'm gonna do is get them brakes fixed on my truck!"
