Hey Guys,


I just joined the forum as I bought a 2008 F350 with the 6.4 powerstroke it has 145,000 miles on it and I am getting an engine code of P200E and follows with a stop engine safely now on screen. I keep driving the truck for a few miles and it shuts off and wont start back up for 2 hours.


There are no mods to the truck, its all factory!!!


So I am thinking I need to do the DDF delete kit, and egr delete kit.


Correct me if I am wrong!


So I am looking at a full catback to eliminate the stupid sensors (will this kit below be the complete catback I am needing)

can I please get your guys advise if this is going to clear up my issue and get my truck running the way it needs to be!


I need answers pretty quick on your thoughts as I have a camping trip next weekend and would like to clear up issues with the truck before hand as I probably wont make it that far the way it is acting

P200E Catalyst System Over Temperature (Bank 1)

Need some advice on the EGR delete also, will the ddf delete and full catback solve my problems

 

In theory it would, yes. But some tuners require the sensor to at least function too. So if it is bad, you still need to replace it. H&S doesn't need it there.

EGR delete is irrelevant to your problem. But the kit you have will work ok. Personally I would only do the kit that replaces the elbow too and removes the valve. The tuner you have there will not remove EGR though I don't think.

 

Catalyst Over Temperature Test: (P200E)
The DTC sets and the engine FMEM actions will activate if EGT2 exceeds 830 deg C OR if EGT3 exceeds 950
deg C. The MIL lights immediately upon fault detection. (Immediate MIL)

 

Problem is fixed took adding a ddf delete kit with full 5" exhaust and ddf-r tuner. But truck is running perfect now

 

I received the P200E code along with the P2084 and P0088 while pulling a 31' bumper pull trailer for a buddy about 60 miles. Truck went into limo mode and this was the first time I've experienced that. After reading the posts, I see there is a potential fix to prevent this from happening, which is the EGR delete, Remove cat and sensors, along with tuner. Is my understanding correct? What parts or kits do I need? eBay Links that Luke posted are expired since the items have been sold. Any information you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
