I'll suffer thru that terrible smell any time. lol
X2, that's and extra couple of grand just for the smell! LOL, I'd prolly research a little more like Steve (Dim Sum) mentioned, you could get it a little closer in price range.
Either way, I know you'll love the truck........BTW can atruck really be too large? (kinda like having too much money!)
My '11 is an early build (05/10). I bought it used in Nov '13 with 66kkm (41k mi) and it cost me 44kCdn (~35kUS). It's a Lariat 4wd DRW CC LB. Came with the 5th hitch and I transferred the ext warr and FMPP for 100$ each, they end mid-Jun, also lifetime Sirius on it.
So far I've had the vac pump leak at the front done, converter swapped as they said it was leaking which caused a flywheel change as the conv was an updated one. No other issues and I'm @ 50kmi now.
Paperwork will be signed tomorrow (wife out of town today) but I have possession of the 2014 F250 XLT and they have my trade in.
Final agreed upon price: truck plus dealer fees just a tiny bit over $38,000; then subtract my trade in allowance and add in sales tax and state title.
So this was $10K better than the current discounted price for a similar new one.
The 2011 fancy dressed Lariat is still at $40K, way too much in my opinion.
