Factory DVD replacement

The rear overhead DVD in my 03 expedition is no longer ejecting or playing the disc (common problem), I am curious if anyone has ever replaced their unit with an aftermarket. I read somewhere that audiovox is the manufacturer, and you can buy direct from them plug in replacement for less than 20% of the cost from Ford. Anyone know where to go for this? Thanks

If I was in your boat, I'd rather look for the wiring diagram and look at aftermarket units to install with a OEM-like professional install using the original wiring harness with pigtails. Technology on those DVD units has come a very long way since 2003, so it really doesn't make sense to pay top dollar for a unit which is basically outdated compared to cheaper units on the market today, specially when talking about the LCD screen, and HD and all that. A current unit would probably support blu-ray and such, as well as even have built in HDD's to load movies into and do away with the whole need of swapping discs between each movie..
