My wife was using my truck and she felt it lost power and ran rough, so she pulled over can contacted me. We both are deaf, but I can hear some and it sounds really bad. So, I had it towed home and I recorded it. I am hoping someone here can listen to it and tell me what's wrong, so I can fix it.
Sounds like you blew a spark plug, look for a coil pack that is not sitting in its normal position, also you should be able to feel air blasting out of the offending cylinder. Let us know what you find..
I just looked at the COP and I found one that is jammed up to the rail. The top of the COP is dented from being forced up to the rail. Not good news, right? Tomorrow I will take it off and inspect it. Its dark right now.

Not real good news, you are most likely looking at installing a timesert in that hole now, google it and you will find lots of info on doing the repair. Good luck and keep us posted..
Use a thick grease on the tap should be fine, then get a small length of hose an dictator it to a shop vac and stick it down the hole and then through the spark plug hole and try to suck up as much as possible just to be safe
Is it okay for me to start it to move it to another side of the drive way and turn the truck around, so the hood is facing my garage door? I don't want to do any more damage.
How do you get the driver side valve cover off the engine. I have loosen all bolts including the hardest one that was tucked in the firewall. The valve cover is tucked in and I cannot get it off. Is there a trick to remove it?
