5.4 running bad

5.4 running bad
I have a 08 f150 5.4 when truck gets to running temp it will barely idel has shut off a few times at idel also every once in awhile at idle it will get a loud tick once you rev the engine it clears up the only code it showing is knock sensor any ideas also thanks for any help in advance

My 5.4 craped out on me with no warning. I have the common tick of 5.4. Everything normal at 65 mph. then I loose power and runs rough. Truck is at second shop with mechs. scratching their heads with multiple codes of missing cylinders etc.. Cam phasers, vct solenoid and whatever else. What the f---! This seems to be a common problem. Any positive input?
