Navigator comparison tests
Motortrend completed a big test for big lux suvs and included the 15 navigator. Autos.ca also did a comparison as well but with hlf the competitors (qx80,slade, navi). they both had interesting things to say but not 2 much, but i left the mt comparison feeling they were a tad biased against the navi.
Similarities: both dinged the navi for fit n finish and interior materials, go figure. They both loved the powertrains as well.
Differences: vastly different opinions on ride, auto called navi the ride while mt called navi worst in test. Note autos has base suspension and 20s while mt had ccd and 22s. Auto talked about handling(slightly boatlike) but motortrend implied it was merely competitive.
In all good reads but the autos was more detailed but left an ambiguous winner where as mt was not as detailed(in certain respects) but gave the navi a 4/5 finish. Dont have one and wont no time soon but what do you guys whobhave one think?

Ford failed to give this SUV segment enough love over the years. But, with a starting MSRP of $72K for the Navi L with the Reserve 101A package, I would expect a vehicle to be as perfect as perfect can get on four wheels.
When I was comparing the Navi to the high end Escalade with an MSRP range of $72,900 to $97xxx I darned near spit out my coffee and closed the page.
