Has any one tried the G force chip on the 5.4 that is advertise on this site ? thank.

It's a scam. Nothing but a resistor that connects to the IAT sensor and richens up the mixture.

The idea of a chip to change the parameters from economy/emissions to performance is not bogus, but from what I hear the 'G-Force' is not it. One thing that messes with drivability in my V6 manual is the throttle delay programmed in. I can see where you may not even notice it with an automatic, but it makes it tough with a manual.

The GForce device is not a "chip", it is what I said it is, a simple resistor. Do not confuse them.

In any event, OBDII systems don't need an external chip for programming modification or enhancements, they are reprogrammed by the tuner via the OBDII port.
