E-31 of the Haynes wiring diagrams on page 12-58.
Otherwise, based solely on assumption from its location in the diagram, somewhere under the driver's side of the dash. Doesn't appear to be far from the column and pedals.

There is no amplifier on '93-up trucks. That was only for the vacuum cruise system on the older ones. On yours, the whole cruise system is inside the servo, which is mounted near the L hood hinge.

It's easier than that - the engine bay harness already has the connector for the servo, so get one with the cable to run to the throttle, swap a cruise horn pad onto your steering wheel, and plug it in. THAT'S ALL.

Steve..after replacing the ring, and upon activating the cruise for the 1st time, it controlled for about 30 seconds and then shut off. The horn still works, but it will not pick-up the cruise control. I checked the sensor, and it seems fine (no obvious problems)...any ideas?

You're gonna have to do more troubleshooting: is the cable still connected to the throttle? Is the brake pressure switch still sending power to the servo? Are the cruise buttons still sending signals? Which sensor are you saying is fine?

The stuff on the t-case has NOTHING to do with your cruise control - that went away in '92 (vacuum system). Yours runs STRICTLY off the ABS sensor in the rear axle, but that feeds thru the speedometer. Look in the 8.8" Axle album in my signature link and then check yours to see if it's loaded with metal shavings.

Steve...I checked the ABS plug sensor as suggested, and found only a few (5) small shavings collected on the face of the sensor. I cleaned it and it had no effect on the cruise...sigh.
