Well so far I have had this truck for 5 years and I'm going for the third set of tires. So far I have run nitto terra grapplers, and currently bfg at ko's. Both sets wore out around the 20,000 mile mark, they both wore very evenly, rotated every 6,000 miles, properly inflated, check the lineup at 2 different reputable shops.is it something about the 275-65-20s that make them wear faster? I really don't need an at tire as I don't go off road that much so I'm thinking of a good all season radial.any suggestions.
I am sitting at 30k on my nitto Terra grapplers with prob another 10 left. these are 10 ply, not 8s. I drive easy though, might be the difference. I have a buddy which got 60k on a set of Firestone destination mts. half ton chevy and we'll taken care of. just my expirience.
I have almost 50k on my Terras, they will be replaced soon and I'm thinking about going with Nitto's Terra Grappler G2. They look the same and come with a 50-65k warranty.
I saw a truck the other day with Falken Rocky Mountain ATS 325-65-15 tires on it. I don't know anything about tread wear on them but dang they looked good.
I've had pretty good luck with Michelins if you are thinking non-A/T. I don't know if they come in your size but I've run the LTX M/S (and now the M/S2) on several trucks and they both wore well and had a good ride. Plus they were surprisingly decent in snow...

I will double check but I bought a couple fallen tires 6 months back seam to wear ok iv probably got 8k on them and suspect they will go another 30-40k no problem I thinking I've got these same tires now
Also ran the BFG AT and always got 50-60k on them and like John they need to be replaced due to age plus iv had a few suspension and steering issues that wear them odd but still got that much miles on them

Not a big fan of Falken myself. Had a set on a 2004 Nissan Maxima, 30K warranty, completely worn out by 10k. Just normal driving. Luckily with pro-rating I installed some Hankooks with 80k warranty.
Ex-wife is still driving that car around on those tires, 7 years later after install, I wouldn't be exaggerating if those tires may have 100k on them.
Here is the set of 31" BFG TA/KO on my 74 Ford. Over 90,000 miles...

I wish I had taken a picture when I saw them. I tried to look up a "stock" picture online but I'm not seeing any just like those. Kinda interlaced, blocks on the tread, rounded a little on the shoulder. Maybe being it was a 325 they are a little different. Looked very sharp on that truck. The line has a 50k mi tread warranty but the larger 20in rim sizes are $299 each + tax, shipping, mounting etc.
I'm going to get a little over 40k out of the GoodYear Wrangler ATS tires I have on there now. No trouble with them.
I'm not a fan of the Michelin AT 2 they wear the outer edges and I rotate them every other oil change.I've had very good mileage out of my Cooper at 3's on my GMC and most likely be going to them this time too or Toyo AT 2
I amo not a fan of the BFG at KOs either. Our diesel eats them up fast especially towing in my experience. They also don't wear well on the front end on the outside edges of the tread. They were really good on winter roads. I am currently running good year Duratracs, 2 winters and one summer towing and I have burned off about 3-4 32nds amd they are wearing very well. Rotation will be in a few weeks. I am thinking I will get 4 winters, 3 summers, about 35,000 miles, no problem. They wear well, really good winter road and they are not afraid of dirt roads and bad roads.
