I am looking at a 2005 350 crew cab Laramie 4x4 6.0. Has 200,000, the injectors hav er just been replaced. How long can the bottom end of theses motors last? When I go look at it I will see if it has head studs, and if any other work has been done. I am not familiar enough with the 6.0 to know if it's worth doing head gaskits with this many miles on the engine

One member on here got 600,000+ before having to rebuild Anthony ( run6.0run )
That's good news! I have been in a Dodge/Cummins for the last 20 years, I know them pretty well and as long as they are taken care of the bottom end will go a long time. Wasn't sure what the 6.0 w are like. I have been seeing some go buys on the 6.0s. I got my current 2003 250 ex cab for $4000, it has a 2005 motor with that has been fire ringed and studed rhat has about 100,000 mile on it. The truck has about 335,000 on it and really looks and works good still. This 2005 I think I can get for $13,000, with the new injectors that doesn't sound too bad
On the 6.0 PSD you don't have to worry about the bottom end except for that pesky O-Ring that seals the bottom half of the block and is known to leak oil, but it's the top half with the four bolt/cylinder and various HP oil system that's been problematic.
Check for excessive blowby, turn the oil fill cap upside down and see if it blows off or vibrates off. if it blows off walk away, if it vibrates your good. also with a new set of injectors I would look at fuel pressure under load and make sure it has a minimum of 45 psi at all times.
I can't find it now but there was some Ford (I think- may have been International) promotional literature saying that 80% of 6.0's were expected to still be operational at 300k miles.
