They actually "clean" the vehicle? Couldda fooled me! They must find all the cool and weird stuff.
The EOD/Fairfield police and PnP will be able to trace the vehicle back to whomever turned it in. Schnitzer Steel keeps really good records. I mean, every vehicle in the yard has a bar code tag which the workers attached and then upload the data to update their website's online inventory.
