Ford C6 Transmission

I'm looking for someone to build me a Ford C6 Transmission to go behind a FORD/Jon Kaase "BOSS" 829 (829 cubic inch) Mountain Motor w/10.5:1 Compression Ratio for 87-Octane Pump Gas,H.P. & Torque @ the flexplate is 1,800 H.P. & 1,400 ft/lbs of Torque for street use.The engine is going to power my 1980-'86 Ford F-100/F-150 Tandem-Axle Pro-Street w/ 13-1/2' StepSide Bed.Any suggestions on who can build me this Ford C6 Transmission. Coan Racing is saying the highest Horsepower Rating is 1,000 H.P.,I'M NOT USING A POWERGLIDE OR LENCO behind my FORD/Jon Kaase "BOSS" 829 (829 cubic inch) Mountain Motor,I WANT TO USE A FORD C6 Automatic simply put "OLE MOUNTAIN" WILL BE ALL FORD.

Have you asked the Jon Kaase people what they suggest? It would seem to be futile to provide such a engine to the public with no suggested tranny to fit. If they suggest only a powerglide or Lenco will take it, then you might have to look for another engine.

Ford C6 Transmission

Franklin2 (Dave),I want the first person to put the FORD/Jon Kaase "BOSS" 829 (829 cubic inch) Mountain Motor on the street, remember the World's Fastest Street Car Challenge back in the Early '90's,You had 572-700+ cubic inches for street engine,That where I got the idea for using the FORD/Jon Kaase "BOSS" 829 (829 cubic inch) Mountain Motor w/10.5:1 Compression Ratio for 87-Octane Pump Gas for street use,And hard is to modify a Ford C6 Transmission w/Manual Reverse Valve Body to handle the 1,800 H.P. & 1,400 ft/lbs of Torque,Am I going to attempt modify a Ford C6 Transmission for this engine.Besides I'm a B.O.L.P. (Blue Oval Loyalist Purist),In other words if isn't all FORD,I don't want it
