F250/F350 gas and diesel suspension/axle questions

Hey guys, just had a couple quick questions.

Was wondering if there is any difference in measurements of suspension components from gas and diesel 3/4 & 1 ton 92-97 F250s/F350s (4x4). If I recall correctly, the only difference is in the front leaf springs, right? The diesel front leaf springs were stronger to accommodate for the added weight of the engine I believe.

The reason I'm asking is because down the road I was considering swapping the custom leaf springs & shackles/hangers from my '94 460 truck onto a diesel truck. I need to know: is there any difference in axle widths/leaf spring eye measurements or hanger/shackle placement between gas and diesel trucks of these years? also, is there any frame width differences of these gas and diesel trucks? I've never owned an OBS diesel, but plan to. I don't think there are any differences like these except for the factory leaf spring ratings, but I figured I'd ask anyway to make sure before assuming. If there are no differences, I could most likely just transfer the swapped in balljoint D60 that is under my 94 into a diesel of the same body style, right?

Any insight is much appreciated. Thanks all

They are all the same. It'll swap right over. People will argue for days about frame thickness between diesel and gas but that's it. The width and suspension is all the same.

Are we talking F250 or F350 2 totally different front ends between the 2.

As for diesel vs gas. No difference in suspension as long as we are talking Big block gas

Basically I'm asking if I can bolt the springs and aftermarket hangers that fit my 1994 460 f250 to a gas/diesel 92-97 F250, or potentially gas/diesel F350 of the same years without modifications

You can swap the springs over to another F250 that's 4x4 no problem. You don't want to put F250 springs into an F350, as it will ride like hell. The F250 springs are very stiff and are negatively arched as to combat the levering force of the TTB axle.

EDIT: Sorry just realized your truck is completely not stock. If you already have a Dana 60 in your F250, the springs you have should bolt up to an F250/F350 frame and Dana 60 axle no problem.

The springs I'd be swapping are 16" custom lift springs, so ride quality is already gone in the wind, lol. The springs currently on my 460 F250 are on a swapped in balljoint D60, so I'm more or less wondering if I could transplant the entire d60 with the 16" springs straight into a diesel F250 of the same year. I figure if they fit perfectly fine on my gas f250 that they'd fit on a diesel with no problem as well?
