Add-a-leaf ????

I just added skyjacker 2" add-a-leaf springs to the front of my F350 diesel and I dont even think I got an inch out of them. Is this common ??? Im not happy with the results ... I guess I expected more .....

I don't own a f-350 or a diesel.

But two things pop into my tiny mind right off the bat:

#1- That dang diesel is HEAVY.
#2 - I wonder if they got him the DIESEL front springs?
#3 - I wonder if SkyJacker differentiates between the two (gas -v- diesel)?

Here is what I actually do know:

The big "little diesels" are heavy enough that a spring that will lift one 2" is going to ride like a soild block of steel under a gas motor.

I am a fan of SkyJacker from way back, , , but they are not the same folks they used to be. I have seen the slippage in the quality of the products myself, and it is enough to definitely make me look twice at the Superlift ads. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if they did not differentiate between the diesel and gas versions.

I know that doesn't answer your questions, but I do hope it provides a snack for your thinking muscle.

That is a good possibility. When I bought the $" kit for my cj-7, there were two different front leaf spring choices. 1 for the I-6, and another part # for the V8. You may want to doublecheck.
