Need Help, Engine Light Is On????
Had the fuel filters and air filter replaced to start. Drove about 3 blocks and the engine light came back on.
Engine starts right up, runs like usual, no hesitation. Wouldn't know there's a problem if engine light did not come on.
I would start by Draining the Fuel water Separator, I have had the same code and it was just a little bit of dirty fuel. I always make sure to use the same fuel stations that see lots of diesel traffic and regularly have fresh fuel.
But first thing is drain the separator and see what that does. May even pull both fuel filters and just verify that they are still clean and not gunked up also.
Thanks for the reply. Did what you suggested last Friday, drained the separator and did replace both fuel filters. Filters were due for a change anyway. Both were clean, no dirt.
Got rid of the code and all was fine until today. Code is now back, so will take it in to a diesel shop tomorrow to see if they can figure out what the problem may be.
We're in MI right now for a few more weeks before we head back to WI. Reluctant to head back, pulling an 18,000# 5th wheel. Don't want to get stranded along the road side.
Hope the shop can figure things out for us.
Again, thanks for the reply.

Just got back from the Diesel Shop. Your suspicions may be correct.
Guy at the shop suspected the low pressure fuel pump also.
Will order parts Monday, should get truck back late next week.
Will then test drive for a week or so then will hit the road again.
I'll post again after the test drive.
Thanks for the comments guys, appreciate your input.
