Painting the interior of my cab
This is my first attempt at painting anything "automotive" related. Had no idea prep work would take this long. The sanding/bondo took a while, but the masking took 2-3 hours longer than anticipated. I hope all of this work will pay off.
I'm spraying with rustoleum automotive primer then many coats of the duplicolor paint shop white and finishing with matte clear. I'll have 12 hours into the interior paint when it's all said and done.

Before and after rattle can interior paint. My wife did the seat cover, door panels and carpet.
This is when the truck hit my driveway.
This is after a rattle can job and a good used steering wheel along with some good used door step trim. Lots of sanding and fill sand helps the paint. I did screw up and when I thought I was painting another coat of primer I actually had a can of satin paint in my hand. Kind of screwed the paint job up but I went with it. Doesn't look to bad but it would have come out better.

Those came out of a 64 CC at the local pull and save. Those might be a 64 option only as I have never seen them in any year 61-63. That is just a WAG on my part as far as the years available. I have only seen them in 64s.

Thanks take your time and you will do fine. Prime and sand prime and sand. If any dents before prime either work them out with hammer and dolly or fill with bondo body filler. Holes have to be welded up or filled somehow. I am hearing there is now some sort of miracle filler out there to plug holes and do body work over short of welding them up. Just a few pics of my prep work until I screwed up and grabbed the wrong paint. I was going to go with a black gloss and clear coat for a mirror shine. I guess I could have but got frustrated at my mistake and didn't want to prime and sand anymore..... LOL

Did you remove original paint or what did you do.

Danny, my best advice is to check the date of the thread, as well as the users profile, before replying in a thread. Checking the profile will tell you if the member is even still active here. In this case, the OP has not ben on FTE for over 6 years. Most often it is best to start a new thread. Good luck

these are available in the aftermarket by a vendor who makes tilt hoods and the brackets for bucket seats. I’ll search for the link and attach … unless you beat me to it and find it before I do.
