Just noticed something...

I have had my truck for about 2 months now and still very much enjoy it compared to my '08 F450 (it tows even better than that truck did). I printed out my "window sticker" and saw something that kind of confused me. Down in the "Included on this vehicle" section there is a statement that says: "less tire inflation monitor". So, taking that literally, does it mean the original owner for this truck ordered it without the TPMS system? Was/is that an option? It doesn't bother me either way because I check my tires often and I don't believe the TPMS system monitored the "inside" dually tire anyway. -Glenn

I don't believe there is a FORD TPMS system available on DRW trucks. I keep hearing all the cool kids with their duallys mentioning that anyway. I'm not positive since I'm in the SRW club, but I'm fairly confident and one will no doubt chime in soon.

The Government don't require them on Dually's. So Ford don't put them on. I don't even think they are a option.

I was thinking that it was GVWR related as to being an option to delete the TPMS.

But, I don't really care. Because I have a dually and just found out that I'm one of the "Cool Kids" now.

From what I'm told, you can't get TPMS on a dually like mentioned above. And YES, WE ARE COOL!!

Yes it is Scott (although I do like my TST system on my fifth wheel because those tires are harder to keep track of way back there).

Couldn't have said it better. One of my buddies has the TST system on the truck too.
