Brake pads
I have a 2001 E350 cutaway PSD. It started life as a twenty foot airport bus and I have re-purposed it.
When I got it the brakes had been ignored for a while, so I replaced everything from the bearings out. I did not "cheap out" on anything.
The first pads chattered when hot. So I tried pads recommended by a manufacturer I met at SEMA. They don't chatter, they fade. And that is worse.
Any suggestions?

I'm running an '03 E250 with the '08 brake upgrade, daily driver weighing about 7,800 and use NAPA Ultra Premium pads, front and rear.
With close to 26K miles they do a great job of stopping plus seem to not chew up the rotors. Not one chatter ever--well worth the somewhat extra cost of the previously used Motorcraft parts.
