SuperCab rear door help

Ok I have searched around as best as I can I have not been able to turn up anything about people dealing with a rusted shut bottom latch on both doors on a 06 super duty. I was able to remove the inner panel and after wedging my head between the door and the rear seat I was able to see down and saw that the ears that held the ball end of the cable in place are rusted and gone. The other door still has then so I soaked it was pb blast and will work it later on after it gets a chance to sit but my problem is how am I gonna get that other door open that the ears are gone. The door is in pretty good shape and would hate to have to cut it and get it open that was. Any suggestions? I know I'll have to get a new latch but wow this is a pain in the rear!!
