I have a 2002 F250, V10 6.8L 4wd crew cab with a 6-speed manual transmission. I hit 200K miles about 2 months ago and it's telling me about it. First was the fuel pump. Then, the other day as I was teaching my 15 year old to drive a stick, I noticed that when the clutch starts to engage, it's making a little growl (I just dump the clutch and go, so I hadn't noticed it when I was driving). I figure my throwout bearing is going out. So...obviously if I'm going to replace that, I might as well do the whole enchilada since the tranny has to come out anyway. I went looking for clutch kits and was overwhelmed by the vast number of them. Please, someone, give me some guidance on which one I want. I don't do a lot of towing, but I do a lot of driving out in the woods and on some pretty tough roads, and also highway and city driving. Thanks!
