Transmission help

Hello I have a 2007 Ford F350 4X4 that has a bad transmission. I found a 2008 Ford F350 in a junkyard that has a good transmission in it. My question is will that 08 transmission fit into my 2007? I appreciate your help with my question.

Why don't you fix the transmission that you have? By the time you go through all the trouble with a used one it may be easier.

No one fixes anything anymore. Jut replace it, throw it away,

Any good recycling yard should be able to tell you the application of the trans they are selling...its called hollander interchange. Its on line too. As Mark said its kinda hard to give you a straight answer not knowing what engine its being bolted up to and what engine the yard truck has in it.
